FAQs

 I have the AP P-Card Holder responsibility and I am not able to pull up a cardholder's transactions.  What do I do?

 Can I use my pcard to book a flight on Orbitz or Travelocity?

How do I get online access to my credit card statements?

 

I have entered my new username and password for the Bank of America Works and now the system will not let me log in.  Am I doing something wrong?

How do I get online access to my credit card statements?

  • You will be receiving an email from Works (WorksNoReply@works.com) titled “UVA Card Program--- Welcome to the Works application!”  This email will give you a username and a link to login.  You may then set up your password and view your card activity and statements.

 I have entered my new username and password for the Bank of America Works and now the system will not let me log in.  Am I doing something wrong?

  • Be sure you are entering 207_email ID  (207_csd6n).  It is an underscore, not a dash.  If you still cannot get in email prs-trng@virginia.edu and ask for your password to be reset.

 

PCARD UPDATES

10/20/09- Dates for PTAEO changes to pcard transactions are OCTOBER 20 to NOVEMBER 3.

9/21/09- Dates for PTAEO changes to pcard transactions are SEPTEMBER 18 to OCTOBER 1.

8/18/09- Dates for PTAEO changes to pcard transactions are AUGUST 18 to SEPTEMBER 1.

7/22/09-  Dates for PTAEO changes to pcard transactions are JULY 22 to AUGUST 4.

6/19/09- Dates for making PTAEO changes to pcard transactions are JUNE 19 to JULY 3.

5/20/09-  Please remember not to fax or email your full credit card numbers.  Some vendors have reported that they have received an occasional email with the full card number in it.

5/12/09-  REMINDER!  For pcard charges to hit this fiscal year they must post to your account before May 15, 2009.  Any charges that post after this date will be processed on next year's budget.

4/29/09-  Has your card declined?  You can check why it declined yourself by logging into BoA Works, click Reports, Reports, Card Reports, and select Card Declines.

4/21/09-  Dates for making PTAEO changes to pcard purchases is April 21- April 30 

4/17/09-  The billing cycle for Visa and Mastercard ended on April 15.  Be looking for your monthly Pcard Reconciliation reminder if you are a cardholder or a supervisor of a cardholder.  Paper statements should arrive by the end of next week.  Those with the AP P-Cardholder responsibility will receive email notification of the "window" to make changes to pcard charges next week.

4/7/09- Access to Works has been restored.  If you are still experiencing difficulty accessing the Works log in page, please send your IP address to CommCardTHD@bankofamerica.com You can find your IP address by going to www.whatismyip.com.   If you have any questions, please email prs-trng@virginia.edu.

4/6/09- The BOA Works site is still down.  Users should be able to access the system Monday, April 13. If you have any questions, please email prs-trng@virginia.edu.

4/3/09- The BOA Works site is still down.  If you did not receive a paper statement and have charges for the March billing cycle, please send an email to prs-trng@virginia.edu.

4/2/09- The BOA Works site to access your pcard transactions is currently down.  We are working with them to get it up and running again!

 

3/31/09- Window of Opportunity dates for PTAEO Changes to Pcard transactions: March 31- April 8
