Atlantic Corporate Interiors ("ACI") will provide Teknion systems systems/modular furniture, design services, and rearrangement or removal of existing systems/modular furniture to the University. ACI will handle all customer service, order entry, delivery and installation. ACI will also assist each department with specification of furniture, verification of fabrics and finishes, identification of special product requirements, purchase order status inquiries, installation follow-up for adjustments, fine tuning and touch-ups. Delivery and installation will typically take six to eight weeks after receipt of purchase order.

Systems/modular furniture will be sold at discounts off of list price. Discounts range from 52% to 66.28%. See price discounts below for specific discounts, dealer fees for design, repair or removal of existing furniture, etc.

Atlantic will provide custom modifications and wall strip installations on an as needed basis. Prices will be $25.00/man hour or less, based on the size of the project.

Atlantic will offer the following initial design services at no charge to the University:
  • One initial furniture layout and one revision
  • Assistance in the selection of materials and finishes
  • Computer drawings of proposed layout with complete specifications of product and pricing

Note:

The contract will be used primarily for add-on furniture requirements to existing systems/modular furniture, and for new furniture requirements under $5,000.00. New furniture requirements over $5,000.00 may require additional justification.

Furniture orders can be purchased in the UVA Marketplace by selecting from a catalog or using the non-catalog order form. Furniture orders cannot be purchased using the Corporate Purchasing Card. Copies of this contract are available from the buyer.
